The Mathew 3 apartment is a simple and comfortable space. It has two large bedrooms, a large living room, separated kitchen with dining table and one bathroom.

The apartment is ideal for two couples, a family or even a small group of friends. But it also sleeps 6 persons easily. So it's a great way to save money and still have the space you need.

The apartment has two large bedrooms that are private and separated from each other. Here you can see how one bedroom leads to the hallway with the living room in the rear.

The living room is great for hanging out, watching TV and has space for extra beds. We can generally arrange the beds however you wish. Just ask us and we'll do our best to make you comfortable.

The apartment has a few nice touches including double doors that separate the bedroom from the living room.

This bedroom and the living room face a sunny side of the building and park. While the kitchen and second bedroom face the courtyard.

The kitchen is complete with utensils, pots, pans and other basic items for cooking. If you need something else, just let us know. Of course there is a stove, oven and fridge too.

The kitchen also has a small balcony!

Location

The apartment is in the area of Prague called Smichov. It's just south of the main historical area, Mala Strana. If you're not familiar with Prague, this means that you area in a local residential area just removed from the main tourist area. But, you can essentially walk from here to Charles Bridge in about 20 minutes. Or, hop on the tram and be there in 5-10.

In the Neighborhood

There are some very nice benefits to staying in this area. First, you will get a real sense of Prague, because the city is much more than just the tourist bits. This particular area has plenty of local restaurants and cafes too. And, prices nearby will be cheaper than those of Old Town, etc.

Also, there is a fantastic shopping mall very close. It's called Nový Smíchov and includes all kinds of slothing stores, restaurants, a pharmacy, kids plaz area and a large Tesco supermarket.

The immediate area is also a great hub for public transportation. The Anděl metro station is five minutes from the Mathew 3 apartment. And, a variety of good trams stop around the corner from the apartment. These include the 9, 12 and 20.

Staying in this area will also tempt you to see some lesser known sights. From the apartment you might explore Kinsky garden, Petrin park with its funicular, tower and House of Mirrors.

And if you are visiting Prague with children, there is a wonderful playground nearby called Dětský Ostrov (Children's Island).
